Operation OKRA – ADF Airstrikes for the period 20 Oct – 02 Nov 17

Over the period 20 Oct – 02 Nov 17, Air Task Group strike operations focused on supporting Iraqi Security Force operations to clear and secure the Northern Lake Tharthar region and Al Qaim from Daesh forces.

Air activity: Over the last two weeks, the air activity has focused on supporting Iraqi security forces in their offensive in the Anbar Valley. It resulted in three strikes. SOUTHWEST ASIA – Between Nov. 4 and Nov. 5, 2017, Coalition military forces conducted 14 strikes consisting of 33 engagements against ISIS terrorists in Syria and Iraq.

On Nov. 5, in Syria, Coalition forces conducted six strikes consisting of seven engagements against ISIS targets.

• Near Abu Kamal, four strikes engaged three ISIS tactical units and destroyed three ISIS missiles.
