Airwars assessment

Between two and three civilians were allegedly killed and four more allegedly injured because of LNA shelling on the Al Shok neighbourhood of Tripoli.

Hona Souq Al-Khmies posted that a shell fell on the house of the Al-Batnouni family, killing one of their neighbour’s sons.

Al Wasat said: “The ambulance and emergency services announced the killing of Rida Mahmoud Attia (M), and the injury of five others, after they were targeted by a ‘random shell’ in Tareeq Al-Shok area in front of the Royal Clinic.

According to a statement issued by the NTRA today, the ambulance and emergency team at the field hospital, ‘Martyr Salem Nafis’ or Salah al-Din, affiliated to the Center for Field Medicine and Support, on Tuesday night, relieved five citizens who were seriously injured: Seraj Mahmoud Attia (M), Rawad Mahmoud Attia (M), Abd al-Rahim Abdullah (M), Abdel Mohsen Fawzi Hamida (M) and Salah Abu Bakr Al Mazroui (M).”

Tk Yahroug Kl shy said: “The Ministry of Health apologizes for not publishing the photos of the elderly citizen who died shortly after the fall of indiscriminate shells fired by the militia of the war criminal Rebel Hafter, due to the ugliness of the scene where the man’s body arrived without his head! The four wounded were housed in the intensive care unit.”

In a different post it said the incident took place near the Al Sayida Mosque and that a member of the Al Marafi family died in addition to injured family members.

Libya Alahrar TV reported one dead and four injured and said the incident was a double-tap strike: “Al-Hashemi explained that the body of the martyr Attia had arrived at the Tripoli Medical Hospital, severed from the head as a result of his injury, indicating in connection with Al Ahrar Libya that the field medical team was bombed while trying to rescue the injured near the diabetes (Al Sukkari) hospital in Salah al-Din.”

Libya Alahrar TV and Tk Yahroug Kl shy accused the LNA of conducting the shelling.

Al Wasat and other sources later reported that Abd al-Rahim Abdullah had died because of the injuries sustained in the attack.
