A 12-year-old girl reportedly died due to a heart attack as she escaped her school in the village of Al Qadriya when the area was targeted by alleged Russian or Syrian regime warplanes.

@mohanadalshekh reported that Lujain Rashid (12) from Al Qadriya village in Jisr Al-Shughour countryside died “as a result of the stopping of the heart muscle as she escaped from school due to the attack of a warplane on the villages of Jisr Al Shughour.”

Smart News Agency reported that activists from the village of Al Qadriya stated that the “military aircraft, likely to be Russian, launched a raid on residential neighbourhoods in the city of Jisr Al Shughour”, and that fear made her heart stop as she fled the school. Human Voice reported the warplanes were Syrian regime aircraft.

The local time of the incident is unknown.

Civilians were possibly injured in alleged Russian airstrikes or Syrian regime artillery strikes on the town of Al Taman’a, Idlib governorate, on March 26th, 2018, according to Shaam News Network.

@Wateen_media reported that “Russian occupation aviation targets the vicinity of the town of Al Taman’a with several airstrikes with vacuum missiles.”

@RFS_mediaoffice, however, reported Syrian regime artillery strikes: “Syrian regime forces stationed in Tal Marq village targeted Al Taman’a town, southern Idlib countryside, with artillery shells.”

According to @Step_Agency, warplanes targeted the bridges of Al Shughour and Al Taman’a, but no civilian casualties were reported.

Shaam News Network, however, reported the following: “Russian aircraft launched fierce air raids on the cities and towns of Ariha, Al Taman’a, Harsh Abidin, Al Naqir, Harsh Al Habit in the southern countryside, and Jisir Al Shugur, Al Safyat and Zarzour in the western countryside, which led to the fall of a number of wounded civilians.”

As it is unclear in which specific incidents civilians were harmed according to the Shaam report, and other sources do not mention civilian casualties for this incident, Airwars has graded the civilian harm status for this incident as “weak”.

@RFS_mediaoffice reported that “Syrian regime warplanes launched several airstrikes with rockets on the city of Jisr Al Shughour in the western Idlib countryside”.

Step News Agency reported that warplanes targeted the bridges of Al Shaghour and Al Tmana’a in Idlib countryside, but that no casualties were recorded. @dored1pash also stated that there were no casualties. @IdlibPlus reported three airstrikes, not specifying the belligerent.

A number of civilians were reported injured in  airstrikes on Al Safyat in Idlib, Syria on March 26th, 2018.

While multiple sources reported strikes, only one, the Shaam News Network (SNN), mentioned civilian harm. According to SNN, “Russian aircraft launched fierce air raids on the cities and towns of Ariha and Al Taman’a and Harsh Abidin and Al Naqir and Harsh Al Habit in the southern countryside, and Jisir Al Shugur, Al Safyat and Zarzour in the western countryside. This led to the fall of a number of wounded civilians”. It is unclear how many civilians were wounded in Al Safyat.

@s.4sahel reported that the Russian warplanes targeted Al Safyat village and its surrounding with more than 16 airstrikes.

While Shaam Network, @PressNetwor, @Hourya.Press and @s.4sahel blamed Russian forces for the strikes, Idlib Plus and Ain al-Abyadh media blamed the Syrian regime.

Up to five civilians were killed and three civilians were reported injured in alleged Russian and/or Syrian regime airstrikes on the city of Ma’aret Misrin, Idlib governorate, on March 23rd, 2018, according to local sources.

Activist Jaber Abu Muhammed told Al Araby that “Russian air forces launched raids on the town of Ma’aret Misrin and Burma farms in the northern Idlib countryside, killing one civilian and wounding three others.”

@IdlibPlus reported “one martyr and several wounded civilians, as a result of warplanes targeting Ma’aret Misrin city, Idlib countryside, with two airstrikes.”

The Local Coordination Committees of Syria reported five killed civilians as the result of Russian airstrikes.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights reported that “Walid Awad Al Skifi, a displaced person from the city of Palmyra in the eastern Homs governorate, was killed by the Syrian regime’s warplane shelling in the town of Ma’aret Misrin in the northern Idlib governorate, on March 23.”

According to Smart News Agency, “a child whose condition was moderate” was one of the injured.

Up to 10 civilians were reported killed and an unknown number of others were injured in alleged Russian or Syrian regime airstrikes on Douma, Damascus governorate, on March 23rd, 2018, according to local sources.

Enab Baladi reported that an alleged Russian warplane “targeted the residential neighbourhoods of the city with 30 strikes, loaded with incendiary phosphorous and cluster bombs, from midnight to Thursday morning, Thursday, March 23, killing 10 people.” Smart News Agency also documented the death of 10 civilians.

In addition, Step News Agency reported that an unspecified number of civilians were wounded.

The Syrian Civil Defence reported the names of three civilian fatalities, all men. Bashir Nasrullah reported on Facebook Majed Aref Nasrallah was also killed in the airstrikes, posting a photo of the body of the victim.

@aboalhodaalhoms tweeted that the civilian homes were targeted with rockets loaded with phosphorus by Russian and Syrian regime forces during the night. @SiegeWatch reported that Douma “has been bombed with at least 27 airstrikes containing incendiary munitions (both napalm and phosphorus suspected).” Siege Watch said there had been 30 strikes.

While some sources pointed to Russia as the belligerent, others blamed both Russia and the Syrian regime.

An unknown number of civilians was killed or injured in alleged Russian or Syrian regime airstrikes on the city of Zamalka, Damascus governorate, on March 23rd, 2018, according to local sources.

The Local Coordination Committees of Syria reported that civilians were killed and wounded as the result of Russian airstrikes on the city of Zamalka.

Step Post reported that “Russian aircraft launched several air raids targeting the cities of Douma, Arbin, Zamalka and Ain Tarma in the Eastern Ghouta, resulting in deaths and wounded.”

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights wrote that “at least 40 raids  were carried out by warplanes on Thursday evening, targeting places in Zamalka city located in the southwestern enclave in the Eastern Ghouta, followed by several raids on areas in Arbin.”

@amsiiraq reported that both the Russian forces and the Syrian regime bombed Zamalka, mentioning the use of chlorine gas. Al Jazeera also reported the use of chlorine gas.

Two male civilians, including a journalist, were killed in alleged Russian airstrikes or Syrian regime artillery strikes on a market in Douma, Damascus governorate, on March 22nd, 2019, according to local sources.

Douma Revolution posted on Facebook that Fozdika shells were launched upon a popular market in Douma, leading to the death of Suhayeb A’yyoun “Abu Al Bara”, a journalist for Sham Emergency System.

Douma Revolution did not mention a possible belligerent, but according to Zamanalwasl news and Euphrates Post, the Syrian regime was responsible. Other sources, such as @remas2300 and @hamadaalhr blamed Russian airstrikes.

According to the Violations Documentation Center in Syria, a male civilian named Majed Kanoun was also killed in the artillery strikes. The Violations Documentation Centre blamed the Syrian regime for the attack.
