The head of the council in Harasta, Hossam Beruti, told Souryiati News that “the situation of the population is very bad because of the intensification of shelling, and people can not secure their daily lives.” He described that the situation of the population in the area as “miserable” because of the overcrowding of shelters and the difficulty of movement in the neighborhoods of the city. He added that the local council was unable to provide shelters today with drinking water because of the high frequency of bombing since the morning. They confirmed that one woman was killed and dozens of others were injured.

Souryante Press reported on the “Deterioration of the humanitarian situation” in Harasta. He describes how heavy shelling has over a period of time caused many civilian deaths and wounded.
